Of the two billion tonnes of grain harvested every year, 690 million tonnes are lost after harvest, and that's the part of the chain nobody is watching.
Storage plays a central role into the crops supply chain. Among many different factors that affect losses, moisture content and temperature are the most critical ones.

Million tons of grain monitored
AgroLog began as one person's conviction. Lars Frederiksen built this company from nothing, on the belief that the grain the world depends on deserves to be watched as carefully as it's grown.
We inherited that and over the last ten years, we rebuilt the company around it. We built the wireless sensors, the software, the platform that connects them, and the data loop that keeps learning from every harvest that passes through it. None of it was inevitable. Grain, unlike almost everything else in agriculture, still isn't measured the way it should be, so we built the tools to change that.
What makes us different
Our range
We're the only European company that measures grain from the handheld in a farmer's hand to a national reserve on one platform. It took thirty years to build, and it can't be copied in three.
One platform
Every product, every site, one account. The same data follows the grain up the entire chain, instead of stitching together systems that were never designed to talk to each other.
The loop
Years of stored-grain data feeding back into smarter sensors, smarter software, and better decisions. Nobody can buy their way into it - it can only be built, one harvest at a time.
Our aim isn’t to dominate the grain industry. It’s to be a reliable, trustworthy partner to the people who grow, store and move the world’s grain. That means hardware and software designed to work together, not separate systems you’re left to make sense of on your own. It means support that doesn’t disappear once the sale is made, so you’re never left to solve a problem alone simply because the invoice has already been paid. And it means data you can rely on, so decisions about your grain are based on what’s actually happening in storage, not on gut feeling, and not on discovering too late that something has already gone wrong.
“We are extremely happy with the service, professionalism, and technical expertise of AgroLog and would highly recommend them.”

“AgroLog worked in partnership with us to develop our bespoke AgroLog silo temperature monitoring system which suits the high level of grain monitoring we require to protect our malting barley stock throughout its storage period.
The Agrolog system data is displayed in easy-to-understand user-friendly interfaces, and data can be easily interrogated. Information is available immediately on the system and can be viewed on PC, tablet or mobile devices. This saves a lot of time in comparison to our previous analogue system and also inputting data on spreadsheets!
From system design and throughout installation the technical team were available using remote access to support us with any issue and guide our own technical staff to where a problem might be. Aftersales support continues to be excellent – geography has not been a barrier. The cloud-based system allows the AgroLog technical team to detect any issues and resolve them for us very quickly.”
